On Tuesday, acting Interior Secretary David Bernhardt issued an order extending until May 30 the authority for eight top officials to serve in acting capacities. The two-page order keeps the current positions intact and held by the same individuals. Under a prior order issued in November, their temporary authority was to expire today.”
