NUMBER OF PANTHERS IN FLORIDA WILD RISES SLIGHTLY

“Last month, officials reported that 2016 was one of the deadliest years on record for panthers in the wild. A total of 42 Florida panthers died in the wild last year, the nonprofit group Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility. The total included 32 panthers who were killed in collisions with motor vehicles, the most on record, the organization said."
